Apples

Apples are really nutritious. Apples are healthy, they give you vitamin C and they make you stronger. Apples are a good source of food they’re very good and delicious/yummy. Apples help when you’re tummy/stomach hurts. Apples are very nice and old fashion. But you need to watch out for worms. Make sure you pick the apples ripe. They’re still good though.

How to Build a Snowman

 By Sarah

Building a snowman is quite easy. Here are the steps. What you will need is snow, a carrot nose, some eyes (not real), a hat and a scarf and buttons.

First, make a snowball. Next, roll the snowball around the snow. Make it pretty big. Then, do the same thing and put it on top of the first ball. Then, if you want to have a third layer do the same thing and put it on top of the second one. Finally, put the carrot nose, some NOT REAL eyes, the hat and scarf and buttons on the snowman.  Then lie in the snow and enjoy!!

EF5 Tornado

By Sammy

In 2007, an EF5 tornado tore through Greensburg, Mississippi. The winds speeds were up to 250 miles per hour. It left the longest damage path ever, since May third, when an EF5 took apart St. Louis. About 90 percent of Greensburg was destroyed. The tornado was about half a mile wide and the largest tornado that Greensburg ever saw. What caused the tornado was a warm front collided with moist air  No one expected the tornado, it hit by surprise. The next time you see Greensburg now you know what happened

The History of Google

How google was created                                     By Jacob

Think about searching on the computer and you need Google.  Did you ever think about where google came from?  Now you are going to be able to baffle and dazzle all of your friends by telling them where google came from!  Google was created at Stanford University.  There was not just one person who made google.  Many students worked together to create google. The name came from the number googol.  Googol has One hundred zeroes in the number.   The first Google computer at Stanford University was made of Legos!  Google has 70 offices in more than 40 countries!  Google is a search engine.  A search engine is something on the computer that you can search on.  I think Google is my favorite search engine because the history is very interesting.

SEA LION CAVES
Sea Lion Caves is nature's home for wild sea lions and a variety of birds. Sea Lion Caves is located 11 miles North of Florence on the beautiful Oregon Coast. The vast cavern with the roar of the great Steller sea lion. Sea lions breed and bear young in the spring, usually in May and June, although some breeding occurs as late as July or even August. The coincidence of breeding and bear was once thought possible because female Sea lions have a twin uterus, a characteristic of all pinnipeds
