Sherlock  Holms

Sherlock Holms is a realistic fiction character.  He started in short magazine stories and two novels.  The first short story was written in 1887.  More than one person has narrated a Sherlock Holms story.  A couple were narrated by Dr. Watson, who is also a character in these stories.  The original stories were written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, a Scottish physician.   

Sherlock Holms is a consulting detective from London.  His character is about 60 years old.  He solves crime with Dr. Watson.  Everywhere you look in Sherlock Holms’ movies there is evidence and mystery.  That is why I love it.

The Nut Job

Last Friday the movie The Nut Job came out in theaters and became one of the most popular movies in the world just like the movie Frozen.

The movie is about a park that has an evil leader named Raccoon but everyone thought he was good. Then there’s a squirrel named Surly and a rat named Buddy. They are looking for nuts for winter when they stumble upon a nut cart.  The park animals spot it too. Then Raccoon sends two squirrels out to get the nuts. Their names are Grayson and Andie. If you want to know more watch the movie in theaters. 

Mines

Mines are very interesting.  Some mines are filled with gold. People mine for gold in mines. Gold looks dirty at first.  Sometimes people ride a mining cart on railroad tracks. There are a lot of other things that you can find in a mine. Like coal, diamonds, salt, and silver. People have to be careful in mines. People can get really hurt in mines. That is a little about mines.

Skocjan caves

The Škocjan Caves are an underground cavern.  They are located                                 in Southwest Slovenia.   Škocjan Caves is one of the biggest known underground canyons in the entire world.  They are a great place to go if you are looking for a nice place to go for vacations because there are tours.  I think I would go to the Škocjan Caves for a fun vacation because of the many attractions there.

Spotted Hyenas

The spotted hyena is also known as the laughing hyena. The spotted hyena eats wildebeests, buffalos, giraffes, African elephants, gazelles and zebras. They’re carnivores. Carnivores are meat eaters. The spotted hyena lives in packs in Africa and in most zoos. The spotted hyena shows up in movies like the lion king. Now you know about Hyenas.

Stretch and Strength

 I take a bunch of dance classes.

 But Stretch and Strength is my favorite.

You wear a Leotard to dance.

You also were Tights.

You stretch a bunch it sometimes hurts when you’re done.

I have a couple of friends.  My teacher is really nice to.

Butterflies flutter in the sky flying oh so high!

          Some are poisonous, Some are harmless

Some are white, Some are black

Some are purple, some are green,

What is the prettiest you’ve ever seen?
