The Life of Bob Fred the Unicorn book 1. The Statue of the King
By Jacob
Warning: if you like stories with happy endings you’d be better off reading some other story.
A long time ago there was a unicorn named Bob Fred (or BF for short).  He had a pretty normal life at the time.
One day his friend Freddy, the phoenix (F for short) gave Bob Fred terrible news.
“Bob Fred, the king has disappeared” Freddy said to Bob Fred.
“Oh no, where is he” said Bob Fred to Freddy.
“Duh he disappeared, that means to vanish under suspicious circumstances.”
“Oh” replied Bob Fred.
Carlene Horsebird came around the corner.  Bob Fred did not like Carlene at all but Carlene thought Bob Fred was her “hubbywubby” and her “horned hairiness.” When Carlene came around the corner Bob Fred immediately hid behind a tree.  Bob Fred didn’t have a very large head which meant that he didn’t have a very big brain either.  Bob Fred finally figured out that his body was bigger than a tree.  Carlene just laughed and said “silly baby trying to escape from me.”
The next day Bob Fred decided to go with Freddy to the mystical castle and Carlene decided to go with them. When they got there Freddy saw a statue. “That looks exactly like the king” said Bob Fred.
Suddenly, a really, really tall giant came out of nowhere. ‘’ Fe fi fo fum I spy a guy with wings for a thumb” yelled the giant.
“I suggest we run” whispered Freddy. Bob Fred ran and ran as fast as he could but he was no match for the Giant.
Within two minutes of running the giant picked up Bob Fred and threw him as far as he could. Bob Fred screamed the whole way. Bob Fred landed. He expected to land and be really injured but he was totally fine. He looked down and saw that he landed in a jail cell full of pillows.  In his cell he had a small toilet and… A TV! Bob Fred immediately turned it to the mystical news channel. He wasn’t very happy with what he saw.  He saw that all his friends were taken along with the Statue of the King.

       The First Snow

On Friday, November 7th, the first snow fell. The snow was really pretty.  Did you see the first snow?  Did you like it?  I know I did.  One student in my class exclaimed “look! Snow!” When that person shouted almost the whole class ran over to see the falling snow.  Personally, I love the snow. Not to play in though.  I had a problem with this snow:

Problem 1. Canal View and Bernabi had to WALK to the high school to see a quick snip-it of “Into the Woods.” (A Play the high school presented.)

Problem 2. The ground and side walk was SOOOO muddy!

It may not be the only problem in the world and not the biggest, but they are mine. Okay, fine, they aren’t that bad because there were solutions:

Solution 1.  I am not going to say this… you will laugh at me… Oh fine! The Administrators had buses transport us. There I said it, I guess I was just overreacting a little.

Solution 2. My teacher did not have us go outside for recess. That way I didn’t need to get my brand new boots all disgusting!

I hope you enjoyed your first snow this year and did not overreact like I did.

Michigan BasketBall

By Jack

In the 1990’s the University of Michigan’s men’s basketball team had five good players. They were known as the Fab Five. The player’s names were Jalen Rose, Jimmy King,  Juwan Howard, Chris Webber, and Ray Jackson.  Two years ago a player named Trey Burke made an amazing basket to beat Kansas.  The history of Michigan’s basketball continues to be good.

                       A sweet puppy

One day Ally woke up at exactly 11:00A.M. “Today we get a puppy!” said Ally. “A Golden Retriever!” said Alex. When the children got in the car and went to the pet store they all got out and went inside. “That one!” “Or that one!” “ALL OF THEM!!!!” yelled Ally. Alex went to a glass case that had a big black dog. “This one!” he said pointing to the dog. “I thought you said we were going to get a Golden Retriever?” said Ally looking at the dark dog. “I want this little puppy!” said Ally. “That puppy it is!” said Mom. When they got home they decided what to name the puppy. “How about Sunshine?” asked Dad. “Great idea!” said Ally. THE END!!
