Boston Marathon

On Monday 35,000 people ran the Boston Marathon.  Many showed support to the people who got hurt last year during the bombings.  The marathon is 26.2 miles long. The winner was an American.  It had been 31 years since an American had won the Boston Marathon.  They passed the Boston stadium as they ran. This year the security guards checked all the backpacks for any weapons. I hope I get to run a marathon someday.
