The Houston Rockets
By: Jack
The Rockets’ franchise joined the
National Basketball Association (NBA) as the San Diego Rockets in 1967. In the early years the Rockets had the great
Elvin Hayes. In the 1980s, the Twin Towers, Ralph Sampson and Akeem (he later
changed his name to Hakeem) Olajuwon.
After winning their first-ever NBA championship, the Houston Rockets
came out in 1994-95 and were even more remarkable than the season before. Rudy Tomjanovich became the all-time
winningest coach of the Houston Rockets.
In the 2014-15 season the Rockets made it to the playoffs. First, they beat the Los Angeles Clippers. The series was 3-1, the Clippers had to win
one more game. The Rockets came back and won the series 4-3. Then, they played the Golden State
Warriors. The Rockets lost the series
4-1. They are still great!
Below is a link to a video of Hakeem
Olajuwon top ten greatest plays.
